The Hunger Games movie!

The Hunger Games movie!

The Hunger Games movie! by robynnhood featuring chain jewelry
Hey persons! :) If you happen to be going to The Hunger Games movie anytime soon, then I have some ideas for what you could wear!

Idea1: Superfan!
For this one, you'd just deck yourself out with Hunger Games attire! The shirt, Katniss' Nails, anything else you have! (as long as it doesn't clash too much)

Idea 2: More fashionable take!
This one's Hunger Games-y attributes are a little more subdued, with the overall idea leaning more towards looking awesome, but still showing your love of The Hunger Games. You might try a white tee and a firey-colored scarf with a cute jean jacket and a few other adorable Hunger Games inspired accessories!

Ah, tedium...

Hey.... goodness that Hunger Games project took forever just to put up! It took me like an hour and a half total to caption and tag each set on Polyvore and then transfer the captions and resize them on the blogger posts... blehhhhh tedium tedium tedium..... And if you're following me, and it completely spammed your dashboard, I apologize.... it probably would have been easier just to post a link to my Polyvore page :P Well, I hope you enjoy them! :) And I just realized that with all of those, I more than doubled my amount of posts :P
Have an awesome day! :D

State Testing Week(s) Ideas

State Testing Week(s) Ideas

State Testing Week(s) Ideas by robynnhood featuring cap toe shoes

Hey peoples! So, as all 3rd-10th graders know, our impending doom awaits! That's right! State testing week(s)!!! Woohoo (not)!!!! And soooo I decided to give you some outfit ideas and some tips to use for that time!!!

Tips:
  • Wear something comfortable! No one wants to be uncomfortable when they take a test, so make sure the outfit you choose in the morning is comfortable! That means:
Do wear: jeans, sweatpants, converse/comfy sneakers or shoes, fluffy boots, shoe-like slippers, tees, and sweatshirts
Don't wear: skirts, tank tops, flats (unless they fit really well, otherwise they tend to be hard and painful to keep on your feet), heels (idk why you would)
  • You might want to wear your hair up and out of your face so that it doesn't impede your sight, but make sure that the style is quick and simple enough that you won't waste half an hour trying to redo it if the need arises. Ponytails, messy buns, and braids can work fairly well for that. However, wearing your hair down will probably be fine too (I'll probably still do that some of the testing days), but it might be a bit more annoying.
  • Take a shower. The night before, the morning of, whichever works best for you and makes you feel the the best when the test starts. No one wants to feel gross when doing something important.
  • Eat breakfast. I know teachers say that about eighteen times a day before the testing days, but it's really true. If you don't eat breakfast, then you're likely gonna be reeeeaaally hungry when you do the test, which is just distracting and will probably injure your scores. In fact, eat lunch too! I know people don't because they "don't want to get fat" but seriously, if you eat the right amount of healthy stuff then it will be fine, and you really need the energy that the meals provide. I personally always eat breakfast and lunch, and I can honestly say that I've still been called a toothpick, so you don't really need to worry as long as you eat right.
  • Try to sleep at least 8 hours every night before a testing day. I know teachers also say that like five bajillion times the week before tests, but it's still true. The more sleep you get, the less likely you are to be distracted by tiredness or to drift off during a test.
  • Make sure you have a jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt, especially if the room you are testing in is notoriously cold. No one wants to be freezing to death and trying to figure out a hard math problem at the same time. And, anyways, better safe than sorry. Even if your room is usually warm, you never know when the heater might go out.
  • Other than that, just do all of the other little things your teachers tell you!
Mmkay, hope this is helpful! :)
